Feng Li is actively involved in investment in education, consumer services, TMT and other high-tech related fields. In the joint of internet and finance, Mr. Li led the investments into Credit Ease, Ripple, Coinbase, Baifendian and Wacai. Mr. Li once launched two start-ups, after that, he joined New Oriental Education & Technology Group, where he worked for eight years and held several core management roles, such as the core education system, sub-brand’s establishment and promotion, distant education and subsidiary products. After leaving New Oriental in early 2007, he created Miaozhen System, a renown big-data driven advertising company. Mr. Li once served at China Renaissance, where he was involved in leading many financing cases. Mr. Li received his M.S. in Chemistry from University of Rochester and BS in Chemistry from Peking University.

 

Bo Zhu

Bo Zhu is the founder and chairman of the Innovalley Accelerator/Incubator in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, China. He is also a founder of the Dreamchaser investment management fund in Shenzhen and is acknowledged as one of the top ten most successful angel investors in China. With twenty years of experience working with Internet, IT, and telecommunication, Mr. Zhu has directed Innovalley in investing in more than 60 companies in the United States and in China, helping a majority of these companies exceed twenty times their original valuation.

Prior to establishing Innovalley, Mr. Zhu served as CMO of business and software product line unit at Huawei, and later as the President of Internet business. He has held both engineering and executive positions at Qualcomm and American Express. Mr. Zhu comes from both an investing and entrepreneurship background. He founded NeTrue Communications, a global VoIP service provider that reached IPO on the Canada Stock Exchange. He was also the founder of Cgogo in 2004, which received institutional financing. His investment portfolio includes startups such as CoverMe, DownTown, xTV, Weendy, and BoostInsider, super syllabus, gift talk, jianzhe mao, dajiatou etc.

Mr. Zhu graduated from Arizona State University with a Master of Computer Science, and holds a Bachelor from Zhejiang University in China. He is currently working on a Doctor of Business Administration from EDC Rennes School of Business in France.

 

Zhaoyu Zheng

Zhaoyu Zheng is a Principal at ZhenFund where he focuses on education and O2O sectors. Prior to joining ZhenFund, Zhaoyu was Vice President of Education International Corporation, one of China's leading providers in overseas study. He also served as Principal at Taiyuan New Oriental School.

Zhaoyu received a Master's Degree in Management from Peking University and a PhD in Education from Beijing Normal University.

Dr. Yong Liu is Managing Partner of SVTech and Venture Partner of WI Harper Group & Legend Star. Previously he was head of Lenovo and Baidu open innovation efforts in the US, including strategic investment and partnerships. He served as a key contributor in several cross-border M&A deals including Lenovo-Moto acquisition. He co-founded Lenovo LeFund in 2010, which was recognized as China top 10 angel funds by Zero2IPO in 2014. Currently he invests in early stage tech startups and accelerates their growth through strong and unique strategic resources in both China and US. In his earlier career Dr. Liu served Samsung Electronics SV R&D center, co-founded Dict.cn, and was an active business writer. He authored 40+ business review articles, 20+ academic papers, and 10+ US/China patents. He sits on the review committee/advisory board of multiple government funds/entrepreneurial programs in China and US. Dr. Liu holds a B.S. and a M.S. in Computer Science from Nanjing University, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Currently he is VP and board member of Nanjing University Alumni Association San Francisco Bay Area.

 

Qiang(Larry) Li

Larry is Managing Partner and Co-Founder at zPark Capital. He also co-founded of zPark Venture Fund and TEEC Angel Fund. He got his B.E degree from Tsinghua University and M.E degree at University of Florida. With extraordinary investment vision and solid technology background, Larry has invested more than 50 companies, including Darma, Assmblage (acquired by Cisco), Droplet, Skycatch, Koinify, Orbeus, Mugeda, Woomoo, Veetle, Narvalous, TrustLook, etc. Larry currently serves on the Board of Director for Droplet, Darma and Candy House, etc.

Lijie Wang, recognizing himself as one of the most diligent angel investors in China, founded and owned the angel investor brand "PreAngel". He manages a decent number of venture capital funds such as "Li Ningbo LeiLi 150 million", "Shanghai LeiLi 3 million", "JianRui capital 400 million "," HuiYi capital 10 million " and " PreAngel LLC 700 million dollars of direct investment to the United States ". His main focus is early stage investment in mobile Internet technology.

Wang focuses his investment mostly on the opportunities brought by innovative mobile Internet services and new core technologies to upgrade and transform traditional industires, which includes: cloud computing, mobile health, social E-business as well as all the projects related to P2P and wearable intelligent hardware products. Starting from 2011, he has invested in more than 180 start-ups.

Kevin Yin

Kevin Yin has been working in networking and communication industry for 24 years. He started his industrial career in Motorola Corp and Network General in U.S as software engineer and developer manager. Prior to joining Cisco, he worked in Bell Lab of Lucent technologies as the member of technical staff. His interests area in signaling, network architecture as well as IP multi-media system design.

In 1999, he was expatriated in AsiaPac and China as one of key architect for next generation network in Cisco, he participated the IP NGN network design and consulting work for customers in the region, his clients include China Telecom, China UniCom, China Network, Singtel, Hong Kong PCCW, Telecom Malaysia, Korea Telecom, Taiwan CHT, Tailand’s ToT, CAT and DTAC, Vietnam’s VNPT, Phillipine’s PLDT and PT Telkom. He become first Cisco Principle Engineer in Cisco AsiaPac, and he hold several U.S patents and authored multiple IETF drafts.

In past a few years, Kevin Yin focus on the advanced R&D in Cisco China and he lead the team to manage multiple-millions dollar research funds both inside Cisco China R&D as well as multiple Universities R&D programs. He published several papers on IP network, cloud computing, Mobile Internet, IPTV as well as Software Define Network (SDN), including co-authored book “next generation network technology”, He is one of frequently invited keynote speaker and panelist in industry forums in China and AsiaPac. He appeared as guest judge in CCTV “Win in China” program as well as several case competition programs in China. Currently, He servers as a member of China national IoT experts committee as well as China national cloud experts committee.

 

David Motley

David Motley is a Senior Managing Director with HEADWATERSSC. Mr. Motley offers a blend of consulting and executive level operating expertise in the client engagements that he supports. During the past several years with Headwaters, he has focused primarily on client engagements in the healthcare and medical device industries. Clients have benefitted from his considerable consulting and operating experience in the areas of governance, strategy, marketing, and product development. Many of Mr. Motley’s initial client engagements focused on early stage and emerging technology life science companies, which led Mr. Motley become a co-founder and General Partner in the BlueTree Venture Fund, a Pittsburgh based Fund, which focuses on Series B opportunities in IT and Life Science companies.

After roughly a 30 year management and executive, in 2010, Mr. Motley began working as an independent advisor and consultant to technology and innovation intensive companies, and he successfully bridged repeat engagements with Kleiner Perkins into a combination of both fee-based and equity-based assignments. In the last 4 years of Mr. Motley’s corporate career, he held positions of progressive responsibility in the medical device industry concluding with VP, GM and Covidien Surgical Devices where he had responsibility for franchise management, portfolio management, and strategy for its $2 billion portfolio of surgical products. From 1999 to 2008 Mr. Motley held executive level positions with MicroCoatings Technology, Alcoa, Inc, Respironics. During his tenure with Respironics, the company grew from $800 million to $1.4 billion prior to its acquisition by Philips in 2008. The first 20 years of Mr. Motley’s career were spent at PPG Industries.

Mr. Motley has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Harvard University. He resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

As Chairman of Deal Flow for BlueTree Allied Angels, Don collaborates with his screening teams to identify quality deal flow, recruit new members and partners to the group, and facilitates BlueTree’s Formal Screening Meetings.

Outside his work at BlueTree, Don is actively involved in mentoring and coaching numerous start-ups and early stage companies in the region through Alpha Lab, Alpha Lab Gear, The Thrill Mill and the eCenter@LindenPointe.

Don is a serial entrepreneur and visionary leader who has been involved in the growth and development of several businesses, including American Eagle Outfitters (as President and CEO), Sundance Catalog Company (as Executive Director), and Bear Creek Corporation (as SVP of Merchandising & Marketing).

His business experience includes Retail, Manufacturing, Restaurant, Franchising, Catalog and E-commerce. Don has been involved in several business start-ups, turnarounds, divestitures and acquisitions.

Don also serves on several Boards of Directors and Advisors.

 

Zhiyu Jiang

Dr. Zhiyu Jiang is a senior consultant at a consulting firm that located in the bay area. His mission is to promote innovation restructuring for many start-ups and Fortune Global 500 through global data cloud services and IoT. He attained his bachelor degree of modern physics at University of Science and Technology of China, and his master degree from Chinese Academy of Science. He later moved to the U.S, where he earned his doctor degree of physics at SUNY Stony Brook and his post-doctor degree at Stanford University. He worked for National Synchrotron Light Source, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory to study free electron laser and experimental particle physics, the basic structure of universe and its interaction and evolution, while he also worked for NASA Ames Research Center. He made significant contribution to the found of top quark and X-ray free electron laser technology at FNAL in 1994. He also worked for many start-ups, the U.S government, and matured companies as consultant in different aspects including product development and promotion, system integration, management, and technology. Later, he worked for Lookheed Martin’s department of homeland security as the CTO, led the big data team for Bearing Point, designed information architecture for IBM GBS, and led the data center transition team for Dell Global Services. He promoted organizational structure and technology innovation transition for many famous companies and government institutions. Dr. Jiang is currently dedicating to cloud computing, big data, data science, and society innovation. With his 30 years experience on science, government, enterprise, Internet, industry Internet, IoT, and big data, he is trying to solve problem and practice strategies with innovative technology. He is focusing on fields including IT+OT, industry 4.0, AI, smart city, communication, media, new energy, health care, transportation, finance, manufacturing, E-commerce, E-government, and technology innovation.
